lap 2 questions

I believe that the Declaration of Independence was successful simply because if it wasn't written the world might not be to this level of equality that it is today. Sure it took quite a while for everyone to come together but nothing happens overnight. From the Declaration of Independence, to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have A Dream" speech, to the Million Man March and etc. none of which wouldn't have happened if it didn't have somewhere to start. One thing about the Declaration of Independence is that everything hasn't totally emerged to "real equality". Unfortunately, there is still racism in every country especially our country and hopefully these problems will be resolved soon. As an African American who lives in the city but still visits the south where my family is from, I see a total difference in the way "Wasp" (White Anglo-Saxon Protestant) treat African American.
